Oct. 12th, 2005 @ 10:47 pm Halliwell Family Expands
Current Mood: chipper
My dad, the actor and singer Bowie Halliwell, has been really busy lately, so he said I could write this entry. I'm getting all A's in school, so I guess he thought I'd do a good job.

Dad always said he wanted to get into acting because my granddad is the one who's the singer in the family. But lately, Dad's been doing more singing than acting. He likes it better, and people really like his singing, too.

I know what he means. It's fun to have people listen to you. I've been taking guitar lessons, and I'm good enough that even his famous friends will listen to me and applaud.

I love my Mom and Dad and am really good friends with both of them. Mom is a photojournalist and goes all kinds of exciting places. Dad works really hard and he's tired a lot, but he tries to make time for me, too.

Having a famous dad isn't always easy. We have fans always pulling up outside our home to take pictures, and one of them is really creepy. Fortunately, our butler, Alfred, takes care of him for us.

The real reason I wanted to write was because there's really big news. I have a new little sister, Cadence. Mom even let me play with her, which was a lot of fun.

She grew up really fast, and Mom says she'll be starting school with me soon. I can't wait to show her around and show her off to all my friends, too!

About this Entry
Sep. 21st, 2005 @ 12:05 pm Bowie Finds Fame, Love and Marriage
Current Mood: hopeful
It's not been easy being Bowie Halliwell lately. A lot of good things have been happening to me, but it seems that the more good things happen, the more complicated life gets. Guess that's the way it is, right?

I've been making an effort to get to know my dad, Ian Halliwell, the famous rock star. I took him to a diner downtown and we had a great time chatting about things, like buddies.

Of course, now that I'm starting to get some fame in Studio Town, everyone treats me differently, including my dad. He actually asked for my autograph, more than once. I gave it to him, but it felt strange. What's more, Melinda Hampton asked me to give her an autograph, too, while she was over at my house for an evening of dinner and a rented movie. That really felt strange.

I've expanded into a couple of other areas in terms of my career. I tried some soap opera acting, and it was hard, but I think I got the hang of it. Just like anything else, you have to keep trying.

And believe it or not, I did a photography shoot for Andy Warhol! He was a little demanding, but he liked some of my work.

Unfortunately, things only got stranger. What started with strangers and neighbors asking for autographs has progressed into a very annoying phenomenon. I have attracted an obsessed fan, who won't go away no matter what I do. He even hangs outside my house and takes pictures.

I've been told the best way to get rid of him is to pay attention to my fan base, to make sure their needs are served, and then they'll sort of police the ranks. At least, in theory, that's what will happen. But I befriended the president of my fan club, Julia Anybody, and despite promises to do something about the obsessed weirdo, so far nothing has happened.

But none of this can detract from my biggest news. Melinda and I eloped! I know it's a bit spontaneous, but she's the nicest girl I know and we always have such a great time together. She's the one person I can count on to always make me feel better when I'm having a bad day. Hopefully, she'll help keep me sane as celebrity life gets stranger and stranger.

Also, here's something that [info]toanstation did, which seems like fun.

Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you.

1. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

2. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.

3. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (but you have to forgive me if I don't know you super well, we may not have a bevy of inside jokes =P).

4. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

5. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.

6. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. Ok, you don't have to, really, but you will. It is inevitable.
About this Entry
Sep. 13th, 2005 @ 12:45 pm Bowie Gets Memed
Current Mood: contemplative
I've been tagged with a meme by [info]viggofest. I have to write a list of 20 random things about myself. Here goes.

1. My dad is the famous rock star, Ian Halliwell, whose biggest hit was "Simulated Love" in 1975.
2. My favorite color is blue.
3. Even though blue is my favorite color, I don't wear it a lot. I look better in black.
4. I am currently friends with Cybill Somebody, the biggest star in Studio Town.
5. I used to be one of the most popular guys in town, but then a lot of my friends started to act like they didn't know me and I had to start all over. Weird.
6. My dad recently moved into the neighborhood. I'm trying to get to know him. He was so busy when I was a kid, making records and touring, it's like we're practically strangers.
7. I've become really good friends with Melinda Hampton. I think I'm actually falling in love with the girl!
8. Recently, I took Melinda on a romantic overnight trip to a beach resort I know. That's when I became aware of my true feelings for her.

9. I love animals and like to put food out for the strays in my neighborhood.
10. Even though I love pets, I don't have one of my own.
11. I taught myself guitar and have gotten so good people really like to hear me play.
12. My creative abilities seem to extend to performance, such as open mic readings or karaoke. I can wow them!

13. The other night I invited one of my former friends, Chris Charming, to visit while Melinda was there. The two of them fought like cats and dogs.
14. One of my favorite things to talk about is Hollywood, which is one reason I've always wanted to be an actor.
15. I don't drive, but the public transportation where I live is so good I don't have to.
16. Just by doing open mic and karaoke, I've generated enough buzz in Studio Town that Sim City Confectioners Corporation produced a commemorative lollipop in the shape of my face.
17. I used the proceeds from that deal to take Melinda on the overnight beach trip.
18. As a keepsake of our trip, I gave Melinda a unicorn statue. She really seemed to like it. Girls love unicorns.

19. My dad is talking about reclaiming his lost glory by making some contacts in Studio Town. Maybe we can eventually do a project together.
20. One of my favorite web sites is Musings: An Online Journal of Sorts, where Alyce Wilson put together a similar list of 20 things about herself.
About this Entry
Sep. 12th, 2005 @ 03:56 pm Bowie Befriends a Celebrity
Current Mood: accomplished
Bowie Halliwell here. I've decided that I need to take my career seriously, so I quit my job as a supporting actor and hired an agent. He suggested the best route is to start at the bottom, hanging out in Studio Town and schmoozing with the actors, do a little open mike or karaoke and see if I can get someone interested in my talents.

At first I thought he was messing with me, but it seems to be working! It didn't take me long to meet celebrities. Over just a short time, I met and befriended the biggest celebrity in town, Cybill. She was a little hard to get to know at first, and she only wanted to talk about herself. But now that I'm starting to get noticed, she actually is interested in hearing about me sometimes, too.

We spent a lot of time together recently. First I took her to my favorite pool hall, but she thought it was pretty shabby. The next time I knew better, and I took her to the fanciest restaurant I can afford. We had a much better time.

Next time I went to Studio Town, we ran into each other and after a brief hug, we did a little shopping together. I even bought a fancy new suit, mainly because I only had one outfit by a designer, and I saw another guy wearing it that day! Cybill insisted that can't happen too often or no one will take me seriously.

My other recent news is that I took Melinda Hampton on a date. We went to the same restaurant (I'm going to have to find some other places to go!) and it went really well. We even played footsies under the table. I think she likes me more than I like her, though, so I don't know what to do about that. Plus, I'm so busy lately with my career that I don't know how I'd have time for a relationship.

The last news to report is just kind of fun. There's all sorts of celebrities to meet in Studio Town. So far, I've collected autographs from Christina Aguilera and Marilyn Monroe! Who knows who I'll meet next!

About this Entry
Mar. 28th, 2005 @ 03:34 am Kirk and Esteban Adopt a Girl
Current Mood: excited
Esteban here, writing about the most exciting news to happen to Kirk and I since we first got married. We've adopted a little girl!

I took the call one afternoon while we were entertaining guests, Bella Goth and one of my closest friends, Rob Vancourt. As soon as the adoption agency told me that our paperwork had gone through, we picked up baby Fiona and I was in love. She was such a little sweetheart. Even Rob couldn't stop picking her up.

Thank goodness Kirk took some time off work to help me take care of the baby, or I never would have made it through! Our little sweetheart could be demanding.

But we did a good job, if I do say so myself, and she's grown up, it seems, overnight. Fiona is outgoing, playful, nice and also very neat. She's one of the few kids I know who will pick up her own messes. At first, she had a little trouble with school, but she's been studying and her grades are picking up. In no time, she'll be an A plus student with more friends than she can count.

I guess the adoption agency was thrilled with our success as parents, because as soon as we got Fiona off to school, they were calling us again to offer us another little one. This time I had to say no. We're new parents, and I want to make sure we get a handle on things before we take on another big commitment.

Plus, we're a little tapped out right now, because we had a decorator redo the TV room to convert it into a bedroom for Fiona. He even added a second bathroom, to make our mornings easier. Kirk and I hated to give up our great spacious, sunny room, but it was worth it for Fiona to have her own space.

Now that Fiona's in school, I'm wondering if I should start looking for a job. Kirk's been supporting me, and we've been comfortable, but now we've got another mouth to feed. Plus, I can't help it. I really want to spoil her! She's such a sweetheart; she deserves the best.

Rob is thrilled for us and likes to visit. He's already making friends with her, too. But I get the distinct impression that Bella is not thrilled. I've known her nearly as long as Rob, and still she acts as if we're not friends. I think it's a pretty simple equation. She and her awful hubby Mortimer, who was such a jerk to me once that I insulted him and he hasn't come back since, are constantly fighting over their daughter, Cassandra. She must have gotten used to the idea that she could come over to our place, try my latest cuisine experiments and enjoy endless hot tub parties with conversation late into the night for whoever wants to stay. Now all that's changing. It probably doesn't help that our little Fiona looks a lot like Cassandra!

But come on, did you think we want people falling asleep on our sidewalk now that we're parents, like that girl Claire Charming did after one of our late night hot tub soaks? You can't run from Mortimer forever, girl.

About this Entry
Mar. 24th, 2005 @ 12:37 am The Twains Make New Friends
Current Mood: bouncy

It's been so busy in our neighborhood lately that I don't think anybody has had time to post anything. A lot of new people have moved into the neighborhood, and lots of kids, too! The weird thing is that even though the kids and I get along in person, whenever I call them on the phone, they don't want to come visit.

That's mostly why I've been making friends with other people in the neighborhood as well, like Mrs. Carmichael and Mrs. Jefferson. They're lots of fun to talk to and play games with, and both of them have kids. Maybe some day the kids will be my friends, too.

The big news in our family is that Mom got a job as a high school music teacher! This means she can quit her job as a lounge singer, along with the terrible hours. She always used to stay up and make breakfast for me in the mornings before going to bed, but I know it was hard on her, and hard on Dad, too.

About this Entry
Sep. 29th, 2004 @ 03:08 pm The Doobies Start Over
Current Mood: annoyed

My name is Lutu Doobie, and I'm an addict. I could blame the drugs for a lot of things in my life: the fact that eight years ago I found myself pregnant, eloping a guy I barely knew and taking the opportunity to legally give ourselves funny names. So I'm Lutu Doobie, he's Speng Doobie, and our little boy is Kringo.

The worst part is that, in the early part of our marriage, we continued doing drugs. I was unemployed for most of it, and I complained whenever Speng tried to get me to do housework. Poor Kringo cleaned the house by himself, and Speng worked to support us all.

Back then, we also had a daughter. But she was less adaptable than Kringo is, and she could have used a lot more mothering. One night, she slept out on the sidewalk because nobody would tell her to come inside from playing and she got too tired to stand.

She was sent away to military school, and from there to foster care. I'm ashamed to admit I don't even remember her name.

We've moved to a new neighborhood, where no one remembers us, although we moved into a house that's almost just like our old one. It feels familiar. Speng and I are both in recovery. We have jobs and are doing our best to act like a real family. Speng is a science teacher, and I'm a nurse.

The neighbors are really friendly here. In fact, last night I noticed Speng flirting with Mrs. Mashuga. I don't really mind; I never loved him anyway. In fact, just listening to him talk gets me irritated. He still wants to be an artist or something, always wanting to paint. I don't mind the extra money it brings in, but every time he gets in a creative mood he ignores everyone else.

But Kringo thinks his dad is just great. He paints next to him, and the two of them have long conversations about peace and love and art and nature. I'm just sick of it. Maybe I'll start flirting with the neighbors, too.

About this Entry
Sep. 29th, 2004 @ 02:55 pm The Knights Adopt a Son
Current Mood: pleased

Our neighborhood has changed a lot; new neighbors moving in all the time. I'm Austin Knight, and my wife Leilani and I are both on the police force, currently both patrol officers.

Our formerly happy marriage has been strained of late, partly because of the failed experience we had the first time we adopted a baby. We simply didn't know what we were doing, and poor baby Colin was taken away by the adoption agency.

I think Leilani blamed it on me, because I'd been the one to have primary care of the baby. This time, with our new adopted baby, Trevor, she made sure to help out.

Before you knew it, Trevor had grown into a very smart, very nice, very neat young boy. When Leilani gets in one of those moods where she won't talk to me, she plays with him for awhile and she's soon in a great mood.

Trevor is even getting to know the neighbors, which is good because Leilani and I both work night shift. But Trevor doesn't let it slow him down; he even threw himself a birthday party this week.

About this Entry
Sep. 24th, 2004 @ 05:11 pm Candi Hudson Marries a Hick
Current Mood: confused
Even though I've lived in this neighborhood for awhile, I haven't gotten to know too many people. Even though I'm super outgoing, I haven't found that many people who seemed to want to get to know me, especially the women. Guess they're jealous.

Since I bought an expensive house, I had to skimp on my furnishings and take the first job that came along. It was pet trainer, which is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Plus, it really doesn't suit my personality. Maybe I'll go into politics! With a bod like mine, I bet I could get elected governor. And wearing a business suit would be a lot better than this silly dress I have to wear as a sheep custodian!

One guy who definitely warmed up to me fast was Elden Hick. He went all weak in the knees when I started flirting with him, and he fell in love with me the first time I kissed him.

Maybe just because he loves me so much, I asked him to marry me. And of course, he said yes. The only problem is, I'm almost certain he loves me more than I love him. I'm not used to having someone else in my bed. I think I'm going to use the fact that we have different schedules to suggest separate rooms.

Elden's casting around for a job he likes. So far, he's tried Slacker and now Hacker. He ought to try Animal Trainer; he loves pets. And he'd probably look better in a sheep herding outfit than I do!

About this Entry
Sep. 22nd, 2004 @ 05:17 pm Clarence Twain Joins the Family
Current Mood: bouncy
I'm Clarence Twain, and my parents are cool. My dad is a restaurant critic and my mom is a piano tuner. But she's a really great guitarist, and I bet she'll be in a band some day.

We live in a small house, but I get my own room and my own bedroom, and there are always friends dropping by.

I like to entertain Mom and Dad's friends by telling jokes, doing tricks, dancing silly, or tickling them. Some of Mom and Dad's parents are boring and don't like that, but Esteban, Chris and Bowie laugh right along with me!

So far I've only met one other kid, Cassandra Goth. She's kind of a bookworm and not that much fun. Maybe I'll meet some more kids soon.

Right now I'm getting a B+ in school, but Mom tells me that if I study I'll do even better. More important to me right now is meeting more people and making more friends!

About this Entry
Sep. 21st, 2004 @ 04:04 pm Melissa and Sorrell Twain Have a Baby
Current Mood: thankful
So many things have been happening lately it's difficult to keep track. Emotions are getting fragile in our little neighborhood, as jealousy erupts.

For example, Sorrell tells me that Kirk Yardley nearly slapped him just for complimenting his partner, Esteban! And to be honest, I don't like Claire Charming, who's a little too flirty with Sorrell. At least, that's what my ex-roommate Chris tells me.

But I'm not worried about that. Besides, Sorrell has a jealous streak, too. He's been hassling me about Brad Burb. But he ought to understand, that I'm only making friends because I think it will help us both out. Connections, you know?

Lately, I've been practicing the guitar, and I'm getting pretty good. Even Bella Goth, that fair weather friend, said she liked it. Maybe I'll look for a job in music.

But the most exciting news is that Sorrell and I have had a baby! Little Clarence is such a sweetie. A little demanding, but he goes right to sleep with a little patience. I can't wait to find out what he'll be like as a child.

About this Entry
Sep. 14th, 2004 @ 03:37 pm Kirk Yardley Falls in Love
Current Mood: enthralled
I was born into a wealthy family, and I always thought that I was better than everyone else. I guess it made me standoffish and snooty.

Unfortunately, my older brother got the lion's share of the inheritance, and the family business, and I'm living under more modest means.

So I threw myself into my work, in the military. Even though I don't particularly like the work, I'm a hard worker so I've advanced through the ranks to flight officer, and I'm making a good wage.

Then something unexpected happened: a ray of light came into my world. An energetic, outgoing young man, Esteban Marquez, started coming around. At first I could swear it was only to use the swimming pool, but soon we started discovering we had a lot more in common than I would have thought.

I finally had to admit to myself that we were falling in love.

As we spent more time together, Esteban was at my house all the time. It began to seem silly for him to maintain a separate apartment, especially when we were so happy together.

So I asked him to move in, and he said yes! As a show of our commitment, he even changed his last name to mine. And he's learning how to cook and is redecorating the house. I'm a lucky man.

About this Entry
Sep. 14th, 2004 @ 03:28 pm Bowie Halliwell Makes Some Friends
Current Mood: cheerful
I've been at a standstill in my job, because I guess it takes connections to advance.

But that's OK. I've been getting to know my neighbors and am happy to report that I've even made some friends! Bella Goth, of course, is one of them. The other is Chris Charming, who's very friendly and outgoing. She's been inviting me over to her house on occasion. I think she really likes me!

About this Entry
Sep. 9th, 2004 @ 04:30 pm Sorrell Twain Gets Married
Current Mood: ecstatic
I thought I couldn't get any happier, but I just did: Melissa agreed to marry me, and now we're living together in wedded bliss.

It took me awhile to get the timing right. Probably didn't help that I'd been a little too possessive of her lately. We were visiting a friend, Claire, who's become good friends with Melissa's former room-mate, Chris. I overheard Claire complimenting Melissa, and it sounded a little too friendly, if you know what I mean. I completely lost my stuff and slapped Claire right in the face. Fortunately, Melissa is so good at these things that she soon smoothed it over.

Things were going so well with Melissa that I finally got up the nerve to ask her to marry me... several times. One time, she told me she thought we ought to talk more, get to know each other better. The other times, she was just in a bad mood. But finally, she said yes!

Surprisingly, Melissa had a good amount of savings, nearly $20,00, which we put in a joint bank account. We celebrated by buying the hot tub I'd always wanted. Melissa thinks it will come in handy making new friends. She says it's about time that I started making connections so I could get somewhere in the culinary field. Knowing Melissa, she's just the one to make those connections for me!

About this Entry
Sep. 9th, 2004 @ 01:20 am Claire Charming Gets a Roomie
Current Mood: hopeful
I'm Claire Charming, working my way up in the medical field because of my interest in biotechnology. I'm also keen on live music and volunteer work, and of course, my dog, Luna.

I had been keeping a low profile, living by myself and all, but finally I began inviting some neighbors in and trying to make some friends.

After a little while, I began to really hit it off with one particular neighbor, Chris. She's got a great sense of humor and can be a lot of fun. She was coming over all the time, sometimes bringing her roomie, Melissa, who's just like her. The two of them could get really wacky when left to their own devices.

Before you knew it, I was calling Chris a friend. And I began to realize something I'd never realized before: it was lonely in this house by myself. So I asked her if she wanted to be my roomie, and she said yes!

On top of that, a burglar tripped our alarm that night and the police caught him, giving us a $1,000 reward, which we used to build Chris a bedroom. She took a business job and has already been promoted to executive assistant. I'm working as a Nurse now, hoping to advance soon. But I hear you have to know some people to do that.

About this Entry
Sep. 7th, 2004 @ 05:21 pm Sorrell Twain Falls in Love
Current Mood: enthralled
Everything's happening so fast, I'm giddy. I'll shout it to the rooftops: I'm in love! Me, the guy who's always messed things up in the love department.

Of course, she made it easy on me. Melissa had been coming over a lot, and before I knew it, she was bringing me gifts, lots of them!

She kept dropping hints that she wanted something more out of the relationship than friendship, but the timing was always wrong. Finally, once night just as I was going to fix dinner, she surprised me in the kitchen with a romantic kiss! And not long afterwards, she kissed me passionately. It's love, for sure!

I've been so happy that I advanced from Drive Through Window Clerk to Fast Food Shift Manager to Sous Chef. I can't remember when I've been happier!

About this Entry
Sep. 4th, 2004 @ 01:17 am Sorrell Twain Moves In
Current Mood: optimistic
My name is Sorrell, Sorrell Twain. Sorrell Emmett Twain. I once considered changing my name to Sorrell X, but with my middle initial, well, let's just say it's no way to impress the ladies.

Speaking of women, I've met quite a few since I've moved in, but only one of them seems interested so far. The first night I moved in, the Goths came for a visit, Bella and Mortimer. That dude is wound wayyyy too tight. Within a couple minutes, he was screaming at her for having left their daughter, Cassandra, at home alone. And yet, he didn't exactly run back to the house to watch her, either.

He kept teasing me and making lame jokes, and he eventually took off because he claimed we weren't fun enough. His lady, Bella, stayed but she seemed to feel like a third wheel around me and Melissa, this foxy girl who lives nearby with her roommate. She and I are really hitting it off so far. But that's probably because I've been playing it cool.

I should have played it cool with her roommate, Chris, who dropped by for dinner the next night. I tried flirting with her, but she wasn't having it. She gave me the cold shoulder, then, and I think I lost some points with her. That's OK; I think Melissa and I have more in common.

I didn't have much scratch when I moved to town, so I signed up with the Army, a a last resort. The pay was great, but they work you ragged. Also, I'm not real keen on the idea of getting shot. So I've decided to study the culinary arts, and I took a job as a Dishwasher. Really, when I'm honest with myself, I'm a creative soul. And much more of a softie than some people probably think.

About this Entry
Sep. 4th, 2004 @ 01:05 am Paige Wright Makes a Friend
Current Mood: happy
I'm really proud of myself; things are going very well for me. First the big news: I've been promoted again! This time I was promoted to Tabloid Writer. It's a very silly job: yesterday I wrote about how Batboy will be starring in a new musical about pudding. All made up, of course, but at least I'm moving up.

But the events in relationship terms have been a little odd, to be honest. I mean, I've been spending a lot of time with Berneice, but I think I'm beginning to see an ugly side of her. A couple of times, when Kirk was visiting, I thought I heard them whispering about me. Maybe I'm mistaken. I hope so.

But even if she is a hopeless gossip, Berneice can be kind-hearted, too. She's been great company, and I'm happy to say that tonight she told me she considers me a friend. Of course, with friends like these...

About this Entry
Sep. 2nd, 2004 @ 02:56 pm Paige Wright Moves In
Current Mood: accomplished

Hi, there. My name is Paige Wright, and I'm a Virgo. That probably says all you need to know about me: meticulous, neat, analytical, but also kind-hearted and justice driven. I've been fascinated by star signs for a long time, to be honest. I'm fascinated by a lot of other things, too, which is why I studied journalism in college. That way, I figured, I could spend my entire career learning about new things and meeting new people.

Everybody says that I'm Daddy's little girl, and it's true that I get along very well with my father, but I'm going to try to make it on my own. I'll only call him for help if it's really, really necessary.

So far, I'm doing quite well on my own. I bought a modest house, figuring that would give me extra money for quality furniture. I could always expand it later. I think it was a wise choice: I live alone, so I don't need much space anyway.

It took me a little time to find a job in journalism, but I held out for the position I wanted and eventually got hired as a typesetter for the local paper. The funny thing is that when I showed up for work, the editor met me at the door and told me that he'd read my writing samples and wanted me to start right away as a Games Reviewer. I accepted, of course.

Although I'm quite happy to stay at home working on speech skills, studying cooking, playing chess or painting, I have met some of my neighbors.

I invited Bowie Halliwell over, this cute, interesting guy I met in the poolhall downtown. But tagging along after him were the Goths. Apparently, Bella Goth is a good friend of his, and she monopolized the conversation all night. I don't really like her.

Mortimer, her husband, had a loud fight with her over their daughter. I guess he was blaming Bella for the fact that the daughter was home alone. He seems to think she shouldn't be out running around the town with her young male, attractive friend. Why do you suppose he minds that? Finally, he got frustrated at us all and left; he claimed he was being ignored.

When I did manage to get some time with Bowie, he seemed really receptive. He kept complimenting me, and he was a great conversationalist and an equally good dancer. I'll have to spend some time with him on his own.

I'm also getting to know two other neighbors: Melissa, who's sort of quiet, and Berneice Tuttle, who's definitely not. Berneice gets all the greatest gossip, but I ought to be careful what I tell her. Something tells me she can't keep a secret.

About this Entry
Sep. 2nd, 2004 @ 02:44 pm Bowie Halliwell Throws a Party
To celebrate my recent success in my career, I decided to throw a party for some of my new friends. They showed up almost as soon as I put some balloons out, which made it festive!

I ordered some pizza, which kept everyone happy until they started to get bored, and then we started a dance party. Bella and Mortimer Goth were there, along with a few new friends I met downtown: Melissa and Cyndi and Kirk.

Cyndi and Kirk were both really friendly, but neither Kirk nor Melissa were all that interested in dancing. Kirk was really interesting to talk to, though. I'll have to catch up with him another time.

I invited Cyndi over the next night, since we'd had such a good time dancing at my party. She was lots of fun and would have stayed up dancing all night long if I hadn't gotten tired. But even though she was being flirty with me, she pushed me away when I tried to hug her good-night. Well, maybe in time things will change.
